Travis County Voter Registration encourages VDRs to register members of our unhoused communities to vote.

We do this by partnering with existing unhoused organizations and homeless shelters:

• Austin Resource Center for the Homeless (ARCH)

• Salvation Army

• Trinity Center

• Sunrise Community Church

• University Baptist Church

VDRs will also register their unhoused neighbors at their camps, and during food and/or resource distribution.

We hope to expand voter registration in our unhoused communities though the Unhoused Committee in our Voter Registration Committees Program
